Refreshing Hibiscus – Ginger Thirst Quencher

Hibiscus lovers you are going to want to try this.  New to hibiscus? – Give it a taste.

What you will need:

  • Quart size Mason jar
  • 1/8 freshly sliced ginger
  • 2 tea. dried hibiscus flowers
  • 2 to 4 tea. of maple syrup
  • 4 cups of filtered water

Directions:

  1. Bring water to boil
  2. Place ginger and hibiscus in Mason jar
  3. Add boiling water to the jar
  4. Let cool to almost room temperature
  5. Add maple syrup and stir well
  6. Strain your beverage if you like
  7. Serve cold or over ice

Note:  You can omit the maple syrup for a tart beverage or increase it for a sweeter taste.
