Herb Infused Water

Are you looking for a new refreshing summer beverage?

Try using the bounty of all those herbs growing in your yard or available at your farmer’s market.

 

What you will need:

  • Quart sized glass Mason jar
  • 2 to 3 fresh basil leaves
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • 1 sprig tarragon
  • Filtered water

Directions:

  1. Chop up herbs
  2. Add to Mason jar
  3. Fill the jar with water
  4. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours
  5. Serve cold
  6. Beverage can be strained or served with herbs included

Other Suggestions:

Cut or tear leaves to release oils.

Go easy on Rosemary – it is a strong herb

Try a variety of herbs such as:

  • Dill
  • Rosemary
  • Mint
  • Sage
  • Lemon Balm
  • Lavender
  • All the herbs 🙂
