Are you looking for a new refreshing summer beverage?
Try using the bounty of all those herbs growing in your yard or available at your farmer’s market.
What you will need:
- Quart sized glass Mason jar
- 2 to 3 fresh basil leaves
- 1 sprig of thyme
- 1 sprig tarragon
- Filtered water
Directions:
- Chop up herbs
- Add to Mason jar
- Fill the jar with water
- Refrigerate for at least 6 hours
- Serve cold
- Beverage can be strained or served with herbs included
Other Suggestions:
Cut or tear leaves to release oils.
Go easy on Rosemary – it is a strong herb
Try a variety of herbs such as:
- Dill
- Rosemary
- Mint
- Sage
- Lemon Balm
- Lavender
- All the herbs 🙂
