First, take your two strips of bacon and cut them into long strips, then into little squares to make your own bacon bits. Start browning these in a frying pan.
When the bacon bits are about halfway browned, chop up your onion and satué in the same pan.
Once your onions are getting soft, mince a garlic clove and throw it in the pan as well.
Add your green beans to your pan. For added flavor, squeeze a half of lemon into the pan as well.
Cook green beans until they are as soft or as firm as you prefer
