Often, learning something new can become overwhelming.  Starting ferments in your home is easier than you think.   The truth of the matter is anyone can do it.

Fermentation has been around for thousands of years.  Here is your opportunity to come to learn how to ferment in your own home.  Learn how easy this can be accomplished in a short period of time.  Renee Pokoj will demo fermenting during the class.  You will leave feeling confident to start making ferments right away.

Ferments to be Covered

  1. Kombucha
  2. Sauerkraut
  3. Brined Veggie
  4. Salsa

Not sure if you like ferments?

No problem,  all attendees have the opportunity to sample several flavors of kombucha.  There will also be tasting of several types of fermented veggies.

Why Should I Consume Fermented Foods and Beverage?

There are health benefits of incorporating fermented beverages and foods into your diet.  Cultured foods help make nutrients more available.  Health gut, healthy body.  More details during the class will discuss how cultured foods increase your health.

Kombucha Kits

If you’re ready to start brewing kombucha right away, kits will be available for purchase.  Each kit has everything you need to make 3 gallons of kombucha.

Kit includes:

  • Gallon glass container
  • Scoby with the starter in a glass to go jar
  • Three types of organic tea
  • Organic sugar
  • Strainer
  • Fabric cloth cover with a rubber band
  • Instructions
